The Parvisani
symbol consists of two circles, one inside the other. The outer
circle symbolizes the Universe, the Creator, consciousness. The
inner circle represents the Earth. The two circles combine to form a moon
which reflects growth,
changing seasons/transformations and divine epiphanies.
In the center of
the symbol is the Eye of God. It is wisdom and watchfulness.
The lines
of the symbol are imperfect, deliberately so. We do not need to be perfect
in our attempts to bring to life the great spiritual principles, to make
positive changes for the ecology and social/political justice. Wabi-sabi, from Zen Buddhism, is the ability to see beauty in
imperfection, it is the beauty of modest and humble things. Such
is the Parvisani symbol. Each person does what s/he can at this
moment - every action done sincerely and with goodwill adds to the
healing of our world!
By
displaying the symbol, we send into the Universe our intentions for harmony
and healing, we inspire one another, we feel inspired, we make a
statement to politicians and lobbyists and we have a visual reminder to
ourselves and to others what our responsibilities are to humanity, to
the Earth, to the Universe. |
